Palestinian detained a year ago remanded in custody by an Israeli military court for the 14th straight time

A Palestinian man from the Jenin governorate in the north of the West Bank detained almost a year ago was today remanded in custody by an Israeli military court for the 14th straight time, according to the family of the detainee.

Mohammad Fayyad Bushnaq, from Rummaneh village, west of Jenin, was detained on August 28 of last year at a military checkpoint as he was returning home from work in Ramallah.

Since then, the Salem military court has remanded him in custody for various periods on yet unclear charges, his family told WAFA, the last was today which remanded him until August 2.
