PM informs Abyan tribes delegation of revolution leader instructions to release Faisal Rajab

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, met on Saturday with the delegation of the Abyan, Shabwa and Bayda tribes, who are currently visiting Sana’a in an effort to release the captive Faisal Rajab.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed the delegation of tribes on behalf of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the Supreme Political Council led by His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, and their presence in the capital of Yemen, Sana’a, among their families and brothers.

He praised the great role played by Abyan in the stage of the armed struggle against the British occupation and in all stages of the revolution until this moment and the great prices it paid since 1967 AD until this moment.

He explained that the delegation’s visit is welcomed by all segments of society, the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and all personalities in Sana’a who have all the appreciation and respect for Abyan province, its heroes, fighters, scholars, and personalities. Pointing out that Abyan was and will remain an important joint of this country.

The Prime Minister informed the tribal delegation of the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to release the prisoner Faisal Rajab, and hand him over to the tribal delegation on Sunday morning, in conjunction with holding a press conference in this regard.

In turn, the head of the delegation, Sheikh Salem Al-Junaidi, expressed his thanks to the leader of the revolution, the head of the Supreme Political Council, and the National Salvation Government for their generous hospitality and the decision to release Rajab.. explaining that one of the purposes of the visit is also seeking to strengthen brotherhood and affection.. stressing that unity will remain firm in the heart of every Yemeni.
