President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated his Tunisian counterpart Kais Saied on the occasion of his country’s Republic Day.
In a telegram, President Abbas expressed keenness to promote the deep and historical bilateral relations to serve the best interests of the two brotherly peoples and countries.
President Abbas praised Tunisia’s positions in support of the issues of the nations, particularly its support to the Palestinian issue in order to end the Israeli occupation, and to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to freedom and self-determination and their independent State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
