President Mahmoud Abbas received today at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah the Head of Egypt’s General Intelligence Service, Major-General Abbas Kamel, and his accompanying delegation, where they discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations and achieve stability and peace in the region.
President Abbas praised the positions, efforts, and initiatives of Egypt led by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to support the Palestinian people and their just cause.
The Egyptian Major-General conveyed greetings from President el-Sisi to President Abbas, affirming Egypt’s keenness to coordinate and work with the State of Palestine in all steps and initiatives for the good of the two peoples and countries and to support the Palestinian people in their struggle to gain freedom and independence.
