Russia Announces Killing, Wounding of 1,540 Ukrainian Soldiers


Moscow, The Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday announced that 1,540 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and wounded during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement about the progress of the military operation in Ukraine that during the past 24 hours, Russian forces improved their position along the front lines and killed and wounded 1,540 soldiers.

It added that 32 drones, 7 guided aerial bombs, 7 missiles, and two tanks were also shot down.

Since the outbreak of the military operation in Ukraine in 2022, there have been conflicting reports about the battle on the ground and the extent of the losses of both sides of the crisis, as each of them claims to have inflicted heavy losses on the other, without being able to independently verify the validity of this information.
