The General Authority for Customs announced today, Wednesday, the seizure of (6) trucks violating the controls in the Central Region Customs Directorate.
The Authority’s statement stated that the customs detachments of the Investigation and Anti-Smuggling Department in the Central Region Customs Directorate managed to seize (6) violating trucks carrying (wood splitting machines, Katy excavator, iron borers, Kawski shufflers, electric wheels, cooling devices and ice cream manufacturing in violation of the controls and instructions)..
The Authority indicated in a statement that these seizures come in implementation of the Authority’s plan to reduce smuggling operations in all customs areas.
