The Somali national army have succeeded in eliminating 60 Al-Khawarij militia members in a planned military operation on Tuesday southern Haratiri District of Mudug Governorate, said a Somali official.
In a statement quoted by the Somali National News Agency (SONNA), Chief of the Haratiri District Mohammad Klmi stated that the national army executed the military plan after receiving information about a vehicle carrying Al-Khawarij militia members and weapons.
Klmi added that the military killed the militia members, seized their weapons and two military vehicles
