Specialty Hospital honors 40 doctors, nurses recently returned from Gaza


The Specialty Hospital honored 40 doctors and nurses who returned from Gaza as part of the 15 medical teams that volunteered to support the people in the Gaza Strip, with the participation of doctors and staff from the Specialty Hospital and other hospitals.

A Specialty Hospital statement cited its Director General, Fawzi Hammouri, as saying that the doctors and nurses are heroes who didn’t fear the seriousness of the situation in the Gaza Strip, which is subjected to unprecedented barbaric aggression.

Hammouri lauded the efforts of the medical team, their initiative, determination, patience, and perseverance while performing the sacred duty, noting that the hospital contributed to supporting these medical teams with all the necessary medicines, equipment, and medical supplies to succeed in their mission.

He expressed his pride in His Majesty King Abdullah’s position and all his support for the people of Gaza, whether in humanitarian, medical, or diplomatic support.

During the meeting, a number of doctors
who returned from the Gaza Strip spoke about their experience, from which they learned patience and steadfastness from the people of Gaza, expressing their admiration and pride in the image of Jordanian doctors in the eyes of the people of Gaza, whom they consider the closest to their hearts.
