UPDATE: Two civilians killed, others injured in Israeli shelling of southern and central Gaza

GAZA: Two civilians were killed and five others were injured this evening in an Israeli shelling that targeted the southern and central Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes shelled a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing one civilian and injuring five others.

Video footage shared by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) on social media platforms showed the rescue operations of the injured, mostly women and children, and the evacuation of the dead body from under the rubble of the targeted house. The attack caused massive destruction at the site.

A woman was also killed in an Israeli artillery attack that targeted an area in Al Fukhkhari town to the south.

Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike targeting a house in the so-called ‘Six Martyrs’ neighborhood in the center of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Strip.

The occupation aircraft also bombarded areas in Al-Mughraqa town and the headquarters of the electricity distribution company in the Az-Zawayda area in the cen
tral Strip.
