Weather forecast: Normal summer conditions to prevail

Normal summer conditions are expected today as partly cloudy to clear and hot conditions prevail in most districts in daytime with a slight rise in temperature, which becomes slightly unseasonably high, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Partly cloudy and moderate to slightly cold conditions are expected in the morning and night hours. Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Thursday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 3°C above the seasonal average with hot conditions in most districts in daytime and partly cloudy and moderate to slightly cold conditions in the morning and night hours.

Temperature is set to drop and become seasonal on Friday.

Saturday’s temperature is set to significantly drop and become unseasonably low, paving the way to partly cloudy and moderate conditions. Possible drizzle to light rain is expected.
