Weather: Hot conditions, temperature higher than annual average

Weather today in Palestine is hot in most districts and extremely hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with no significant change in temperature, which remains 3°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is moderate in the mountains and relatively hot in other districts. Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 22°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 42°C and a low of 28°C while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 25°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

The same weather conditions are expected for Wednesday and Thursday, but a slight rise in temperature is expected for Friday to approach 4°C above the seasonal average, said the PMD, which warned people against being exposed to the sunlight for long period, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry areas with dry grass.
