The low-pressure front that affected Palestine yesterday continues today bringing scattered rain and possibly thunderstorms in most areas as temperature remains 5°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly to northwesterly, active and gusty, and sea waves are high.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 9°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 8°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, but remains 3°C below the seasonal average with a chance for sporadic light rain in some districts.

A further rise of temperature is expected on Monday and Tuesday to become around the seasonal average, said the PMD, which warned people against flash floods in valleys and low areas, gusty wind, and slippery roads.
