Weather: Very hot, dry conditions to continue

Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy and hot to very hot, dry and dusty at times, with no change in temperature, which remains 10°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northeasterly to southeasterly and light to moderate, active a times, while sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 10°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature drops on Thursday, which yet remains 6°C above the annual average.

Partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively hot conditions are expected for Friday and Saturday as temperature drop agains, yet remaining 3°C above the annual average. A slight chance of scattered rain showers are expected on some areas, especially the northern, on Friday.
