Weather: Very hot, dry conditions to prevail

Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy and hot to very hot and dry, with a significant rise in temperature, becoming 10°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northeasterly to southeasterly and light to moderate, active a times, while sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 10°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Extremely hot conditions are expected for Wednesday in most areas as temperature rises further to approach 11°C above the annual average.

Temperature drops on Thursday, which yet remains 6°C above the annual average.

Partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively hot conditions are expected for Friday as temperature drop agains, yet remaining 3°C above the annual average.
