شيع آلاف الفلسطينيين في مدينة نابلس، شمال الضفة، اليوم الثلاثاء، المطارد البارز إبراهيم النابلسي، ومقاوما آخر وفتى، ارتقوا إثر إصاباتهم برصاص الاحتلال، عقب اشتباكات مسلحة ومواجهات اندلعت مع قوات إسرائيلية خاصة اقتحمت البلدة القديمة في المدينة.

وانطلقت مسيرة تشييع الشهداء من مستشفى رفيديا، باتجاه دوار الشهداء، وسط نابلس، وتقدم المشيعين مقاتلون من الأجنحة العسكرية التابعة للفصائل الفلسطينية، وسط إطلاق نار كثيف من المسلحين.

وأوردت مصادر طبية في مستشفى رفيديا أسماء الشهداء وهم إبراهيم النابلسي، وإسلام صبوح، والفتى حسين جمال طه (16 عاما).

وارتقى الشهداء الثلاثة عقب اشتباكات مسلحة ومواجهات اندلعت مع قوات إسرائيلية خاصة اقتحمت البلدة القديمة في نابلس، صباح اليوم.

‏أكد عضو المكتب السياسي لحركة المقاومة الإسلامية “حماس”، حسام بدران، أن “المواجهة المسلحة اليوم في نابلس، شمال الضفة، وارتقاء الشهداء، وعلى رأسهم المطارد إبراهيم النابلسي، لن تكسر إرادتنا، ولن تضعف من عزيمتنا”.

وأشاد بدران، في بيان صحفي، تلقته “قدس برس”، اليوم الثلاثاء، بـ”احتضان الجماهير الكبير للمقاومين، والمشاركة الواسعة في تشييع الشهداء”، مبينًا أنها “حالة تذكرنا بالمقاومين في انتفاضة الأقصى الذين قاتلوا بشرف وعزة حتى آخر أنفاسهم”.

وأضاف أن ‏”مدينة نابلس، جبل النار، إذا تحركت وانتفضت تحركت معها أرجاء الضفة كلها، وأنها مدينة العمل الوطني المشترك في المقاومة والمواجهة مع المحتل”.

وأكد عضو المكتب السياسي لـ”حماس”، أن “المشهد الأروع هذا الاحتضان الجماهيري للمقاومين وصبر الأمهات وصلابة أهالي الشهداء”، واصفا إياها بـ”لوحة وطنية بامتياز سيكون لها ما بعدها”.

وأعلنت وزارة الصحة ارتقاء ثلاثة شهداء في نابلس، إضافة إلى 40 إصابة، بينها أربعة حرجة، نتيجة العدوان الإسرائيلي على المدينة، وأضافت أن الشهداء هم: إبراهيم النابلسي، وإسلام صبوح، وحسين جمال طه.

أطلقت جمعية خيرية كويتية، اليوم الثلاثاء، حملة عاجلة لإغاثة أهالي غزة، عقب العدوان الإسرائيلي الأخير على القطاع، حملت عنوان “نبيها (نريدها) فزعة لأطفال غزة”.

وقال رئيس قطاع إدارة الموارد المالية والتنمية في جمعية “نماء”، وليد البسام، لـ”قدس برس”، إن “الحملة تشمل جملة من المشاريع، دعماً للأسر الأكثر حاجة في مختلف القطاعات بغزة، وتبدأ بالقطاع الصحي عبر توفير الأدوية، والمستلزمات الطبية، وتزويد المستشفيات بالأسرّة”.

وأشار البسام إلى أنه “خلال الأيام القادمة سيبدأ دعم الأمن الغذائي للأسر المتضررة، وتوفير الدعم المالي للأسر النازحة التي تهدمت بيوتها، بتوفير بدل إيجار مساكن لهم”.

وتابع أنه “بحسب الإحصائيات الأممية، فالأوضاع الإنسانية في غزة، تدق ناقوس الخطر، حيث أن أكثر من نصف سكان القطاع لا يعرفون معنى للأمن الغذائي، ونحو 80 بالمئة يعيشون بشكل أساسي على المساعدات الإنسانية لتلبية احتياجاتهم الأساسية في الغذاء والمسكن والصحة وبالنسبة للتعليم”.

وأضاف أن “الحروب المتوالية على قطاع غزة، أدت إلى اهتراء شبه كامل في النظام الصحي، وعجز تام عن سد احتياجات القطاع بسبب ضعف الموارد”.

وشهد قطاع غزة عدواناً إسرائيلياً، استمر لثلاثة أيام، أسفر عن استشهاد 46 فلسطينيًا، وإصابة 360 آخرين، ودُمرت خلاله عشرات المنازل، فيما ردت فصائل المقاومة بإطلاق مئات الصواريخ على مستوطنات غلاف غزة، وبلدات ومدن الداخل الفلسطيني المحتل.

Hot conditions are expected today in Palestine with temperature remaining around the seasonal average and through the weekend, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

No change in temperature or weather conditions is expected through Friday.

The death of two people who succumbed to their wounds sustained during the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, and the demolition of the homes of two prisoners in Rummana village were highlighted in the Palestinian Arabic dailies – al-Quds, al-Hayat al-Jadida, and al-Ayyam – published today.

Three Palestinians were today killed and more than 40 wounded, some critical, during an Israeli army incursion into the northern West Bank city of Nablus, according to medical sources.

The Ministry of Health said three Palestinians who were brought to hospital in very critical condition have died of their wounds, adding that 40 people were wounded by live bullets, some of them are in critical condition.

It identified the dead as Ibrahim Nabulsi, Islam Sabbouh, and Hussein Jamal Taha.

The injuries occurred during clashes that broke out when Israeli soldiers raided the old city of Nablus and surrounded a building, which the army later destroyed after firing missiles at it wounding or killing those who were inside.

The Israeli army said its soldiers killed two people in Nablus and that they have left the city after that.

The Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem today demolished two rooms in the Isawiyya neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem claiming they were built without a permit.

WAFA correspondent said staff from the municipality accompanied by police and a bulldozer broke into the neighborhood and demolished the two rooms.

The Palestinian presidency today condemned the Israeli assault and killings in the northern West Bank city of Nablus and held the Israeli government responsible for its consequences.

Presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said in a statement that the Israeli occupation is getting close to an open confrontation with the entire Palestinian people through its all-out aggression that began in Jerusalem and then spread to Jenin, Gaza, and today in Nablus, which left three people dead and dozens wounded.

Abu Rudeineh said the Israeli government is not interested in achieving calm and stability, and instead it is shedding Palestinian blood and exploiting it to achieve gains in Israeli internal politics.

He criticized statements by the US delegate to the United Nations who said that Israel has the right to defend itself, stressing that such statements support the Israeli propaganda, which is rejected and unacceptable because Israel is the aggressor and it occupies the Palestinian land since 1967, as recognized by the entire world.

What is required now, he said, is to hold Israel responsible for this bloody escalation, which claimed the lives of dozens of the Palestinian people.

The presidential spokesman stressed that this aggression, if it continues, will ignite the region, and will cause devastation that no one can bear the serious consequences of.

“Jerusalem and its holy places are the basis for peace and stability for all,” he said. “Continuation of this Israeli aggression, whether through daily cold-blooded killings, settlement expansion at the expense of Palestinian land, or the continued desecration and storming of holy sites, demolishing homes, expelling residents and other Israeli measures will not make our Palestinian people surrender or accept to compromise their national principles at all costs. The international community must end its dubious silence and stand firmly against Israel’s policy that violated all international laws and human rights the world calls daily to implement.”

Israeli settlers today uprooted olive saplings and destroyed crops in the town of al-Khader, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to the mayor of al-Khader Ibrahim Mousa.

He told WAFA that settlers uprooted 150 olive saplings and destroyed crops in a 13-dunum plot of land located near the illegal settlement of Navi Danial.

Also in the south of Bethlehem, settlers from the illegal Efrat settlement, set up a mobile home on privately-owned Palestinian land near Wad Rahhal village, according to Hasan Ibreijieh, a local activist.

He said Israel claims the land is state-owned, which is a pretext they use to take over Palestinian land.

West Bank cities today observed a commercial strike in protest against the Israeli army killing earlier in the day of three Palestinians in the northern West Bank city of Nablus and the wounding of 40 others in a pre-dawn raid of the city.

Shops shut down in Nablus, Hebron, Tulkarm, Jenin, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Salfit, and Tubas.

In Ramallah, protesters marched in the city streets before going to the northern section of the city where they clashed with Israeli soldiers stationed at a checkpoint.

Clashes with soldiers were also reported in Tulkarm, Nablus and Hebron.

Several injuries were also reported in the Israeli army crackdown on these protests.
