Human Rights Office in Taiz welcomes initiative to open roads & calls on other party to deal with it

The Human Rights Office in Taiz Governorate confirmed that one of the priorities of laying the pillars of peace is to provide humanitarian routes for citizens alternative to the long and dangerous roads to and from the city of Taiz, which caused the loss of lives.

The Human Rights Office indicated in a statement received by Saba a copy of it, that the initiative launched by the acting governor of the province, Ahmed Al-Massawi, comes as a confirmation of the initiative of the Supreme Political Council to open Al-Siteen-Al-Khamseen Road, Al-Noor city, reaching the city of Taiz and implementing it on the ground from one side, which must be picked up by the other party.

It considered the opening of roads a bridge for the two parties to build confidence and establish an important basis for peace, as the opening of roads is a practical application of the humanitarian rules and principles stipulated in divine laws, international conventions and international humanitarian law, to alleviate the suffering of citizen
s.

According to the statement, the Human Rights Office conducted extensive research and investigation on the importance of the road that the Supreme Political Council unilaterally opened through the Fourth Military Region Command and the local authority in the governorate, Al-Siteen – Al-Khamseen Road, Al-Noor city.

The results of the research showed that the road subject to the initiative shortens the distance to approximately forty minutes instead of the seven hours to and from the city of Taiz, which the citizen has incurred for nine years.

It indicated that the road subject to the initiative is uninhabited and devoid of civilian life, as it does not pass through neighborhoods inhabited by housing and residents, and thus facilitates the monitoring and monitoring of any violation that may be committed by any of the parties, and in the event that this occurs, the facts of violations against civilians and forced displacement will not be repeated, as previously in the Al-Dahi and Ghorab outlets.

The result
s of the research stated that this road is safe militarily and security for both parties and therefore does not raise any concerns, and the monitoring authorities can monitor any developments, violations or military movements that may threaten the lives of civilians moving along this humanitarian road.

It pointed out that this road is a safe humanitarian corridor whose location and geographical surroundings ensure the safety of civilians, whether those who live in the city or the surrounding districts, especially since public health facilities, universities, technical and scientific colleges and other service facilities are all located in the heart of the city, causing great suffering to citizens and incurring material losses and lives.

The Human Rights Office in the governorate welcomed the opening of the main road Haifan Tur Al-Baha by the Fourth Military Region Command and the local authority as an alternative to those rough roads that exhausted citizens and inflicted great human and material losses.

Th
e statement recommended the need to work hard to open the most important road in the governorate, Al-Siteen- Al-Khamseen, Al-Noor city to the city of Taiz, in order to alleviate the endless suffering of citizens forced to take alternative roads that robbed them of a lot of effort, time, money and lives.

The statement called for dealing positively with this road, not only as a humanitarian corridor, but also as a road and bridge to build confidence to establish partial and complete peace in Taiz governorate in particular and the country in general.

It also called on the United Nations, through its Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, to pressure the other party to respond and deal positively with the initiative of the local authority, urging the parties to abide by the provisions and rules of Islamic law, international humanitarian law and international human rights law, which have made it an absolute priority for the safe passage of civilians, not to attack civilian objects, and to respect, secure and pr
otect the population.

An Arab misinformation campaign to relieve pressure on the Zionist enemy

The correspondent of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) in Gaza, Nidal Abu Mustafa, said on Thursday, ‘It is very clear that there is a very large misleading campaign for the Arab and Islamic world in order to reduce pressure on the Zionist enemy entity, the Western world, and the United States, which the Zionist enemy entity is implementing in order to distract and deceive the world that it Aid is being brought into the Gaza Strip.

He explained that the latest of this deception is that the Jordanian army carried out an aid landing operation today in the northern Gaza Strip. However, the reality is that this aid fell in settlement areas close to the Gaza Strip and did not fall on the Palestinian citizens in the northern Gaza Strip who are suffering from extreme hunger.

He stressed that this is a clear series of propaganda and theatrics in which the Zionist enemy army participates with the Jordanian army and is implemented in a joint and agreed upon manner. This is very clear to mislead the world, but the reality
is completely different.

He said, “The reality is what happened today, that the Zionist enemy army allowed a very small number of trucks to enter Al-Rashid Street in the northern Gaza Strip, and then opened fire intensely and fired shells at tens of thousands of Palestinian citizens who were present in the area waiting.” The entry of aid that they were expecting to enter.’

He pointed out that more than 100 martyrs and hundreds were wounded in this horrific crime, as reported by the Palestinian media and the world learned about it.

He pointed out that the reality is also that the number of deaths continues to rise, especially among children, due to famine and malnutrition. Today, the tenth child was announced in hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip due to malnutrition, severe weakness, and dehydration.

The (Saba) correspondent concluded by saying: This is the reality and there is a play being worked on and implemented jointly between the Arab regimes – especially Jordan – and the Zionist enemy entity to mi
slead the world and make it believe that there is aid entering the northern Gaza Strip.

In light of enemy’s threat to continue its aggression, resistance threatens it with more messages from field

At a time when the Zionist enemy entity threatens to continue its attacks on Gaza Strip during Ramadan, if a truce agreement is not reached.

The Palestinian resistance factions confirm their readiness for more messages from the field, which clearly indicates the meaning of the Palestinian deterrence force, which has succeeded in imposing its hegemony. Despite the military arsenal the enemy possesses, he is only good at committing massacres against innocent civilians in Gaza Strip.

Zionist Minister Benny Gantz, a member of the war government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, threatened last Sunday, saying:

‘The world and Hamas leaders must know that if the prisoners do not return to their homes by the month of Ramadan, the fighting will continue everywhere, including the area Rafah.”

He said: “To those who say the price is too high, I say very clearly: Hamas fighters have a choice. They can surrender, release the prisoners, and in this way civilians in Gaza can celebrate the Ramadan holidays.”

In the face of
these threats, the positions that came from the resistance indicate that there is a state of readiness led by the Palestinian factions to face all possibilities, meaning that these factions are still controlling the course of events and are capable of raising the level of losses among the ranks of the Zionist enemy army.

In this context, a source in the Palestinian resistance confirmed that the Zionist enemy army, for the ninth day in a row, failed to advance towards the center of the Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

The source stressed that the resistance fighters are “closer to the enemy than expected, and they are following his movements and targeting him with appropriate weapons.”

He stated that the Zionist enemy, in light of its failure on the ground, bombed dozens of houses in southern Zaytoun, and bombed others with warplanes in the center and north of the neighborhood.

It was also announced that the resistance destroyed more than 20 vehicles during this period, carried out dozens of ambus
hes, targeted sniper positions, and bombed the vehicle pool and the command headquarters.

In turn, the Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, announced the destruction of an enemy tank, a Merkava 4, by targeting it with a Tandom shell in the axis south of the Zaytoun neighborhood.

Also, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, published scenes of a Zionist soldier’s sniper operation, on the front lines of the advance east of Khan Yunis.

It also announced the detonation of a Zionist military vehicle with a “barrel-piercing device” in the vicinity of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood intersection.

Yesterday, the Palestinian resistance factions announced a number of operations they carried out in Gaza Strip, coinciding with continuous and intense bombardment by enemy aircraft and artillery.

Among these operations, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas movement, bombed a gathering of enemy forces penetrating south of Zaytoun neighborhood with h
eavy-caliber mortar shells.

As for the Al-Quds Brigades, they announced that they had targeted two enemy army military vehicles around the Dawla Junction in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood with RBG shells, and a gathering of enemy soldiers and vehicles, with a barrage of regular mortar shells.

In addition, Mujahideen Brigades announced that they had targeted an enemy military bulldozer in Al-Taqaddum axis, south of Al-Zaytoun, with a ‘Sa’ir’ anti-armor missile.

Within the framework of cooperation between the various military wings of the Palestinian resistance factions, Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades placed a Zionist force in a tight ambush, in the vicinity of Palestine University in the central Gaza Strip.

The ambush used anti-armor and anti-personnel devices and missiles, which led to death and injury of members of the Zionist force.

In another joint operation, Al-Qassam Brigades, in conjunction with the National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Pale
stine, destroyed a gathering of enemy forces south of Zaytoun neighborhood, with mortar shells.

Al-Quds Brigades and the National Resistance Brigades carried out a joint operation in which they bombed gatherings of Zionist vehicles with mortar shells in Biyara Saqallah, east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

While the resistance continues to confront the Zionist forces penetrating Gaza Strip, inflicting heavy losses on its ranks in equipment and lives, Zionist enemy army admitted this evening, Tuesday, that four of its soldiers were killed and others were injured in a missile attack on a building in Khan Yunis.

Sources in the enemy army confirmed, “Four Zionist soldiers were killed and others were injured in a missile attack on a building in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza Strip.”

Zionist sources circulated scenes showing an enemy army helicopter landing carrying wounded soldiers in a hospital in occupied Al-Quds.

Earlier, Zionist sources reported that a security incident occurred in Gaza Strip, resulting in casualt
ies among the enemy army, amid reports of deaths.

The sources reported that a security incident occurred in the Gaza Strip and that a number of wounded soldiers with varying degrees of injury were transferred to Soroka and Assuta hospitals.

For its part, Zionist enemy army acknowledged that seven of its soldiers were injured in the battles of Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, without giving further details.

Thus, the number of wounded in the Zionist enemy army rises to 2,981 officers and soldiers, of whom 1,421 were injured during the ground aggression, according to officially announced data.

According to enemy army data, the death toll of officers and soldiers since Al-Aqsa Flood operation on the 7th of last October has risen to 579 dead, including 240 since the ground aggression on the 27th of the same month.
