Israeli forces crackdown on solidarity rally in Bethlehem, two injured

Israeli forces Thursday afternoon cracked down on a solidarity rally at the northern entrance of Bethlehem, injuring two, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Israeli forces violently quelled protestors who marched in condemnation of the onslaught on Gaza and the assaults on Jerusalem, hitting two protestors by rubber-coated steel bullets; one in the foot and the other in his head. Others suffered from tear gas suffocation.

The Health Ministry said that the Israeli forces have killed 259 Palestinians and wounded 8,011 others since May 7.

The Palestinian people in the occupied territories, Jerusalem in addition to 1.6 million Palestinian citizens of Israel have been staging rallies in protest of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza which killed 230 Palestinians and wounded over 1,700 others, as well as in condemnation of the forcible expulsions of Palestinian families from Sheikh Jarrah, days of assaults against Al-Aqsa Mosque compound besides to settler mob violence.
