Palestinian Presidency slams Israeli crime in Jenin

RAMALLAH, The Palestinian Presidency Friday condemned the new crime committed by the Israeli occupation army, which killed a Palestinian youth and wounded others, including paramedics, and a doctor whose injuries were described as very serious, during a military raid in the refugee camp of Jenin.

The official presidency spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said that the Israeli occupation government has crossed all the red lines through its insistence on proceeding with the policy of killing and field executions, imposing collective punishments on Palestinian people and their properties, continuing the incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Israeli forces and settlers’ assault on Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah before, noting that “which we will not accept, and we will never allow to continue.”

Abu Rudeineh warned that the silence of the international community and its inability to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy give the green light to the Israeli occupation to escalate its aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people who are facing a continuous Israeli war against their land and holy sites, whether in Jenin, Jerusalem, Nablus, or Gaza, and other areas in the occupied Palestinian territories, which, if they continue, will plunge the region into a cycle of violence and destruction.

He said that it is time for the US administration to intervene to stop this Israeli madness against Palestinians people, their holy sites and their land before it is too late, because the continuation of such violations threatens to explode the situation, something that the Israeli occupation government is responsible for, noting that it wants to exploit Palestinian blood in favor of cheap electoral campaigns.
