Suffocation cases reported during confrontations with Israeli forces near Ramallah

A number of Palestinians Monday evening suffered from suffocation during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces in the town of Biddu, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, local sources confirmed.

The sources said that the Israeli forces raided the town and broke into the area of Jabal al-Sheikh and proceeded to carry out inspection operations in the fields, sparking confrontations, during which the soldiers fired tear gas bombs towards the Palestinians.

As a result, a number of protestors suffered from suffocation due to inhaling the tear gas bombs fired at them.
