Weather: Another rise in temperature, autumn conditions

Autumn conditions are expected today in Palestine as the weather is expected to be relatively cold in the mountains and mild in other areas, with another rise in temperature while remaining 2°C above the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 17°C and a low of 11°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 16°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature rises further on Wednesday approaching its normal seasonal average.

Thursday’s and Friday’s temperature is expected to slightly drop, becoming 2°C below the annual average.
