On July 25, 2023, Nyxoah received the rectification of the April 16, 2023 transparency notification that it had received from ResMed Inc. in relation to the upward crossing of the 5% threshold by ResMed Inc. on March 30, 2023. The correction relates to the number of shares and the percentage of voting rights held by ResMed Inc. on March 30, 2023: ResMed Inc. held 1,619,756 shares, representing 5.73% of the total number of voting rights (and not 1,499,756 shares or 5.30% of the voting rights as stated in the April 2023 notification).

Turkish President Announces Accelerating Ongoing Defense Projects

Turkiye will accelerate ongoing defense projects and find solutions for the sector’s requirements, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) in Istanbul, Erdogan said the prototypes will be tested for domestic use and exports.

The four-day event, starting on Tuesday, exhibited cutting-edge technologies, systems and products in the defense and aerospace fields.

Touching on the country’s advanced fighter jet Kaan, Erdogan said the aircraft will make its maiden flight by the end of this year.

For years, he said, Turkiye was unable to use the weapons it imported to fight terrorism.

“We have been subjected to secret and obvious embargoes, we have been the victims of unfair and unlawful restrictions,” he said.

“We have experienced double standards, injustice and disloyalty, in the face of these, we did not give up, we never turned from our path,” Erdogan added.

While the country’s dependence ratio was at 80 percent in the defense field 21 years ago, this ratio is around 20 percent currently, he said.

During the 21-year period, Turkiye has achieved many successes, victories and manufactured defense products that were once an unimaginable feat, the Turkish president said. (QNA)

Israeli occupation forces wreak havoc in a school in Beita

Israeli occupation forces wreaked havoc this morning after raiding a school in the town of Beita, to the south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed Bir Quza Mixed School in the town, breaking down windows and other contents of the school and stealing the security cameras installed in the yards of the school, the sources added.

Last night, confrontations erupted between Israeli occupation forces and local Palestinian civilians at Mount Arma near the town, during which at least 10 Palestinians suffered suffocation from inhalation of teargas fired at them by the Israeli soldiers.
