WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources, or any meaningful peer recognition. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period, defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose, among other things, that: (1) the Geared Turbofan (“GTF”) engines had been affected from at least 2015-2020 by a quality control issue; (2) this quality control issue would require RTX to recall and reinspect many of its GTF airplanes, affecting customers and harming its business; and (3) as a result, defendants’ statements about its business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

To join the RTX class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/submit-form/?case_id=17866 or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email pkim@rosenlegal.com or cases@rosenlegal.com for information on the class action

NEW YORK, Sept. 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

WHY: Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds purchasers of securities of Masimo Corporation (NASDAQ: MASI) between February 28, 2023 and July 17, 2023, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”), of the important October 23, 2023 lead plaintiff deadline.

SO WHAT: If you purchased Masimo securities during the Class Period you may be entitled to compensation without payment of any out of pocket fees or costs through a contingency fee arrangement.

A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than October 23, 2023. WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs’ Bar. Many of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the lawsuit, defendants misled investors by creating the false impression that they possessed reliable information pertaining to the Company’s sales pipeline. In reality, defendants’ forecasting processes failed to adequately account for potential loss of sensor sales among Masimo’s customers, as well as the potential decline in demand for premium and luxury audio categories. Alternatively, defendants deliberately ignored the decline in sales. In either event, defendants misled investors by providing the public with materially flawed revenue guidance for fiscal 2023. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

N. Korea Slams S. Korean President’s Warning against Pyongyang-Moscow Military Cooperation

North Korea on Monday slammed South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol for making “hysterical” remarks after he warned against possible military cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow last week.

It is natural for neighboring countries to keep close relations with each other and the development of friendship and cooperation among nations is the legitimate right of a sovereign state and the foundation for regional and global peace and stability, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.

Yoon said in a UN General Assembly speech that any arms deal between Pyongyang and Moscow would be considered a “direct provocation” against South Korea, amid growing concerns about their military cooperation in the wake of a summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to South Korea’s news agency (Yonhap).

Italy Criticises Germany for Funding Migrant Charity Groups

Italian Defence Minister Guido Crosetto criticised Germany’s plan to finance charities helping migrants in the Mediterranean, saying that the plan causes difficulties for Italy, as Rome tries to enforce tougher measures to stem the flow of sea arrivals.

Crosetto described the German plan as “very serious”, stressing that Italy remains resolute in combating the human smugglers, who he said should be treated as international criminals.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the German foreign ministry said on that Berlin was implementing a parliamentary financial support programme for both civilian sea rescue and projects on land.

“We have received several applications for funding. In two cases, the examination of the applications has already been completed,” the spokesperson said, adding that each project would receive between 400,000 and 800,000 euros.

Italian interior ministry data shows that more than 132,000 migrants arrived in Italy by boat this year, an increase of about 69,000, compared to the same period in 2022.

Italian government announced that it would increase the number of migrants detention centers and lengthen the detention period.

CEO of Mowasalat Fahad Saad Al Qahtani has revealed a plan for a complete transition to clean energy in the State of Qatar within two years, pointing out that the use of e-buses in the public transport system has reached more than 70 percent, according to the Ministry of Transport’s plan for environmental sustainability.

In an interview with Qatari newspaper Al-Sharq published Monday, Mowasalat’s CEO said that there were around 909 e-buses, which were used during the World Cup, and were completely converted into the public transit system, out of a total of 3,000 buses dedicated to transporting fans during the World Cup only, adding that about 5,000 buses were operated during the tournament for hospitality and security services, as well as various other support services. Work is now underway in coordination with the relevant authorities to distribute charging stations in various areas in the country, in preparation to fully transition to the use of e-buses within a plan issued by the Ministry of Transport, he said, adding that this transition is expected to be reached within the next two years.

He pointed out that Mowasalat is working according to the highest standards and uses modern technology within the control rooms to communicate with its fleets and drivers everywhere, noting that the company is working in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to transport 60,000 students daily, using 2,500 school buses equipped with all security and safety means.

Al Qahtani underlined that the path taken by the company for development was based on two main axes, which are the environmental sustainability and technology in general, which help the company achieve many leaps over the years, stressing that Mowasalat is part of the global events hosted by the country, which is considered an addition to the companys experience and development. The most recent of these events was the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where company benefited greatly at the level of the workforce and building expertise in managing such mega events, and also at the level of infrastructure, he said, adding that after that Mowasalat achieved great and different progress, benefiting from these experiences and applying them in its system.

Regarding joint cooperation with various other entities within the country, he said that successes cannot be achieved except through joint cooperation with various sectors of the State, and there are contracts with government sectors that request various services from the company, as well as cooperation with the private sector, which is considered a strategic partner of Mowasalat, as most buses and light cars are brought from the private sector.

About the availability of transport services in areas outside Doha, the CEO of Mowasalat explained that today they have turned to smart solutions, where the public are able through the “Karwa Taxi” App to request the type of vehicle they need at any time and in any place, with more focus on tourist places in the country and the public location sites.

On the future plans and strategy of Mowasalat, Al Qahtani said that at Mowasalat, they seek to achieve clean public transportation that contributes to the development of sustainability in Qatar, and to increase digitization in all possible fields through available Apps, as well as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the company’s systems, adding that a large part of sustainability is achieved by investing in employees, by providing a comfortable work environment that encourages them to continue for a long time, and providing them with residential, service and entertainment facilities, in addition to appropriate training, each according to his competence.
