12th Conference of Ministers of Culture in Islamic World Begins in Doha on Monday

The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Culture, will host the 12th Conference of Ministers of Culture in Islamic World under the theme ‘Toward renewing cultural action in the Islamic world’ on Monday.

Chinese President, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Discuss Bilateral Relations

Chinese President Xi Jinping and HH Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah discussed on Friday bilateral relations and a range of joint issues.

Kuwait News Agency said that the talks, which were held in Hangzhou, China, focused on the bilateral relations and means of further strengthening them with the objective of boosting prosperity of the two peoples, and contribute to progress and development.

The two sides also discussed the desire to cement the strategic partnership between Kuwait and China, in addition to exchanging views over a host of regional and international development.

The two sides witnessed signing of cooperation agreements between Kuwait and China, including a joint statement regarding a cooperation plan for years 2024-28, and an MoU between Kuwait Municipality and the National Development and Reform Commission in China regarding a low-carbon recycling.

Jenin.. The young man Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan was killed by occupation bullets

Asian Games: Qatar, Palestine Play to a Goalless Draw

Qatar Olympic football team played a 0-0 draw with its Palestinian counterpart on Friday in the second round of group D of the football competitions at the19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.

The match was the second and last for the Qatari team in the group, after losing 0-3 to the Japanese team in the first match. The team has now one point compared to three points for the Japanese team, while the Palestinian team is in second place with one point.

The first and second-place finishers from Group D will qualify for the Round of 16, along with the four best third-placed teams at the end of the Group Stage.
